Irish Artist Rosemary Gifford is one of the most inspiring artists i have had the pleasure dealing with.Whether it's still life, landscape or figurative, there is a vibrancy and life in her paintings which only an artist with Rosemary's freedom can achieve. She has no restrictions, painting with soul and desire to constantly progress with her work.
Rosemary Gifford's paintings have evolved dramatically over the last decade, however her paint laden brushstrokes and exceptional tonal work is instantly recognisable.
Rosemary's work is not only admired by collectors and gallery owners(of which there is a list wanting work) but also by artists themselves. When people comment on Rosemary's work, they comment with passion and entusiasm and this reflects the passion and entusiasm Rosemary exudes when creating her paintings.
Pound for pound in my opinion Rosemary's work in investment terms is equal to any artist in the irish art market. Quite a statement but if you knew Rosemary and followed her work as closely as i have there is no doubt in my mind your belief would be equal. She loves art and her passion is infectious. She is also very grateful to the artworld for being so supportive.
I am excited by the fact that i (nor probably she) knows what direction she will be drawn to next with her art. It is a journey with Rosemary and i feel privilaged to be involved and to watch her evolve as an artist with limitless potential.
